Hey everyone!
I'm still stateside (but only until Thursday!) and I'm currently trying to pack. For someone who's used to taking 50 pounds worth of stuff in a suitcase for the week on the Cape, this whole "one checked bag and one carry-on for 3 months of country-hopping halfway across the world" thing is a little difficult. It was actually not that hard to fit everything in the suitcase (without a lot of the little things that I'm bringing, that is). The mystery is... does my suitcase weigh 50 pounds? Will I collapse while trying to carry a really heavy backpack in the LA airport during my 10 hour layover?
